New Jersey currently allows the sale of cannabis to both registered medical cannabis patients and adult-use cannabis consumers.
To shop, New Jersey requires medical patients to be at least 18 years of age with a valid New Jersey Medical Marijuana card and a valid government-issued photo ID.
Adult-use cannabis consumers must be 21 years of age with a valid government-issued photo ID (in-state and out-of-state).
Patients under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian register as their designated caregiver.
